What is the PTA?
The Gunnison PTA is a school-based organization acting as a powerful voice for all children and a resource for families and communities of the Gunnison Lake School and Gunnison Elementary School. We are a group of parents, family members, teachers, and administrators who work together to create the best possible experience for our students!

Our PTA provides support for our administrators, teachers, and staff. We create a positive and caring atmosphere for all. We address important school issues and plan a variety of fun and engaging programs.
Our Students
Research shows that children perform better when parents are engaged in their education, both at home and at school. Parental involvement boosts student achievement!
Gunnison PTA Events
The Gunnison PTA helps with many events throughout the year including the Color Run, Pumpkins and Popcorn, Gingerbread Walk of Lights Night, Monthly Teacher & Staff Coffee Cart, Parent Teacher Conference Meals, Teacher Appreciation Week, Field Day and more!
How Can You Get Involved?
There are many ways to get involved!

Active Members
Attend quarterly meetings in person or virtually, share ideas and suggestions, and volunteer to help with events when you can.
$15 / Year
Inactive Members
Support the PTA, maintain your membership & stay up to date on happenings. no active participation necessary.
Free
Information Only
Receive PTA updates and meeting minutes to stay informed. No participation required—just a great way to learn more and consider joining later.
